Mister Peru is well know about his different group trips. However for this year they developed a new travel program for his contacts in Great Britain, Holland, Belgium Austria Italy Slovenia and the United States.

Issue is to form an international travel group that accompanied by an English spoken tour conductor will travel through the most popular part of Peru.

The 15 day standard program has departures from Lima on Saturday starting in May end ending in November each year. It is easy to combine before or afterwards with individual extensions.

Pachacamac - Lima, Peru

Day 1 (Saturday)

Arrival day Lima

Arrival time depends on the flight company You have chosen. You will be picked up at The time you have given us. At the airport our English speaking Tour conductor will wait for you and will take care of your transport airport hotel. After checking in we offer you as a welcome drink the famous national cocktail Pisco Sour.

Candelabra - Pisco, Peru

Day 2 (Sunday)

Route: Lima - Center - Pachacamac - Pisco - Paracas

After breakfast will travel to Pisco During our trip we will have a stop at the ruins of the temple complex of the mysterious pre Inca god Pachacamac After a short coffee break we will continue going to Pisco Paracas where we will arrive in the early afternoon After Lunch we will visit the Paracas reserve and the JC Tello Museum

Day 3 (Monday)

Route: Islas ballestas and Oase Huacachina

Early in the morning (about 07.30) we will go to the harbor of Paracas. A fast speedboat will bring us in about 45 minutes passing the famous Candelabro sign on the way to the Islas Ballestas (the small Galapagos of Peru) Over here we will sail about 45 minutes around the islands in meantime our English speaking local guide will give explanation. At about 11.00 we will come back to the harbor After a short coffee break we start traveling to Ica. We will have a stop at the winery el cantador where we can hear about the secrets of the distillation process of the national pride of Peru the Pisco.

Huacachina - Ica, Peru

We will continue going to the oase of Huancachina. Some can take some time to relax and others could try to practice the popular sand surfing over here About 3 o clock we will leave the oasis to go ahead to Nasca. We will have a short stop at the Mirador (a tower of about 10 meter) that give you an impression of 3 of the Nasca Lines.

Aquaducts - Nazca, Peru

Day 4 (Tuesday)

Chauchilla, Aquaducts, Paredones, Route Nasca Arequipa

For high temperature reasons we will start early in the morning to go to the cemetery of Chauchilla Because of the very high dryness of the Nasca climate (more dry then the Sahara area) the mummies are well preserved. Afterwards we will have a look at the aqueduct of cantalloc a peace of water management of high level from the old Nasca culture. When we return to nasca we will visit the pre inca ruins of Paredones There is also the possibility to book addicional a Nasca lines over flight people who like to do it have to contact the tour conductor in time After lunch we will take the Royal class bus to Arequipa at 15.30 witch will arrive at after midnight in Arequipa.

Santa Catalina - Arequipa, Peru

Day 5 (Wednesday)

Route: free day Arequipa

A free day in Arequipa. Thanks of the use of the white volcanic stone ¨sillar¨in Public buildings the city received the nickname of White city. A very beautiful city and also because of his nice climate (more then 300 days of sun a year) an excellent place to take a little rest. This day you will have to explore the convent of Santa Catalina or take a vist at the museum of the Inca Ice mummy Juanita.

Recoleta - Arequipa, Peru

Day 6 (Thursday)

Route surrounding Arequipa

Today we will visit the surroundings of Arequipa We start at the museum of Recoletta. This museum have beside an interesting collection of pottery also an Amazon rainforest collection and a very nice library with books of more then 450 years old. We will continue going to the bridge made by students of Eiffel to the Mirador (overview tower) of Chachaca. Her you have a nice vieuuw over the city and surroundings of the Arequipa area. We will visit the house of the founder A beautiful colonial hacienda we will end up at the Sabandina A mill build by the Spanish conquistadors at the end of the 15th century. Over here there is a possibility to make a little horse back tour for people who are interested

Colca Canyon - Arequipa, Peru

Day 7 (Friday)

Route Arequipa Chivay

After breakfast we will leave Arequipa at about 08.00 to go to Chivay.We will have a short coffee (coca thee) break on our way and arrive in Chivay at about 12.00 After Lunch we will visit the hot springs a nice relaxing experience in a beautiful surrounding. For those who’re interested we could have a little visit at the local Chivay market as well. In the evening we will have a folkloristic show during the dinner

Sillustani - Puno, Peru

Day 8 (Saturday)

Route Chivay - Cruz del Condor - Sillustani Puno

Again early in the morning we will leave to the Cruz del Condor. The most large bird of the world needs the early morning thermic layers to go up and fly above the 4000 mtr sea level. For the ones who like walking we could make a short (45 minute) walk at the edge of the canyon. After all of us have seen the impressive birds we will continuing our way to Puno. Yust before reaching Puno we will see the tombs of Sillustani and we will visit this place aswell. If time left we will enter a small altiplano house where the family is proud to show their way of living.

Taquile - Titicaca Lake, Puno, Peru

Day 9 (Sunday)

Route Puno Urus Taquile Puno

Today a Titicaca lake day The lake Titacaca at an altitude of about 400 mtrs is the highest navigational lake in the world en the place of birth of the legend of the Inca god Viracocha In the morning we sail out from the harbor of Puno to the floating islands of the Urus Indians. After the vistit we will continue going to the island of Taquile. Taquile is an island with a lot of own culture and sometimes you will feel tthat you are back for about 50 years in time.

Andahuaylillas - Cusco, Peru

Day 10 (monday)

Route Puno Pukara Rachi Andahuaylillas Cusco

Another travel day with a lot of sightseeing. We will start about 07.30 to go to Cusco visiting a museum in Pukara and the temple of the Inca god Viracocha called Raqchi after lunch we will vistit a small but very nice church in Andahuaylillas and we will arrive in Cusco at about 17.00

Day 11 (Tuesday)

Route Sacsayhuaman, Tampumachay Qenko cathedral and Koricancha

After breakfast we will visit the nearby ruins of Cusco Sacsayhuaman, the most important fortress of the Inca emporium Tampumachay the holy spring and Qenko one of the most important esoterical places of the Inca in the culture In the afternoon we will have a city walk where we visit the Cathedral, the beautiful church of la Merced and the Convent of Koricancha

 

Sacsayhuaman - Cusco, Peru

Day 12 (Wednesday)

Free day

We leave this day to you Several options available from Bungy jump to rafting or from a local market to the Inca museum.

Pisac - Sacred Valley of the Incas, Cusco, Peru

Day 13 (Thursday)

Route Cusco Pisac Urubamba Ollantaytambo Aqua Calientes

Today we will see the holy valley we start at the Indian market of Pisac and afterwards we will go and see the ruins named after the same place. We continue going to the Urubamba visit the famous museum of the artist Seminario. We end up in Ollantaytambo to see the ruins over here. After lunch the train will bring us to Aqua Calientes where we will spent the night

 

Machu Picchu - Cusco, Peru

Day 14 (Friday)

The highlight of the program Machu Picchu

Early in the morning we will leave Aqua Calientes with our local English speaking guide to the long hidden citeadel of the Incas Machu Picchu The tour will take us about 2 hours and the time left you can use to take fotoos or climb maybe the most well known mountain of Peru (its always shown at the background of every Machu Picchu fotoo) Picchu Picchu

Day 15 (Saturday)

Route Cusco Lima

The last day of your holiday. In the morning we planned your return trip to Lima.

If you have more time available contact Mister Peru so he can help you with interesting extensions.
